The ice-skating pond is checked daily by Parks and Recreation staff. There are also open / closed signs posted at the park entrance. To see if the sled run and/or skating pond are open, please visit our homepage at www.recreater.com.
Sled Run
The sled run is approximately 20 feet wide and 150 feet long.
Current sled run status: Closed due to hazardous conditions.
Ice Skating Pond
The ice-skating pond is approximately ¼ acre and 10 to 12 inches in depth throughout.
Current ice-skating pond status: Closed (Updates are weather-dependent)
Park Hours
On days where the ice-skating pond is open, the park will remain open until 10 p.m. The ice-skating pond will be closed if unsafe conditions exist.
Facility Management
When the ice-skating pond is open, it is managed by Parks and Recreation staff.
