Athletic Field Reservations

Thank you for your interest in reserving an athletic field managed by the Frederick County Division of Parks and Recreation (DPR). Please read and review the Athletic Fields and Amenities Policy & Guidelines with your group. Use of county athletic fields is by permit only, applications must be submitted 10 business days in advance of the first use to guarantee the timely processing of your request.  

While synthetic turf fields are open year-round, natural grass athletic fields are closed from November 15th through the last Sunday in March.

Open Field Community Use

Fields are open and available for community use whenever there is no permitted reservation.  Lights are not provided for the general open field use.

No organized team practices or clinics may occur.  This access will provide for informal play at these facilities on a first come, first served basis.
