This project will include replacement of the playground next to Shelter 6. The wood carpet around the playground will be replaced with poured-in-place surfacing.
In addition, the asphalt traffic circle to the boat ramp will be resurfaced and improved for better vehicular access, along with installing new parking spaces to accommodate vehicle/trailer parking.
Lastly, poured-in-place surfacing will be installed in front of the large playground to protect landscaping materials from coming into the playground area and provide a safe surface connecting the playground to the entrance walkway.
Schedule
Construction is estimated to begin in fall 2023.
