Program Description
Participants will investigate different ecosystems and consider the interactions between the environment, the animals, and humans within them. An ecosystem is the sum of all the living organisms in a particular environment and their interactions with each other, as well as with the physical environment around them — the rocks, soil, weather, and landscape. A habitat is where a plant or animal gets all its needs met. Humans have the same needs as other living things but can also greatly alter natural ecosystems to meet our needs.
