Youth Leagues

Welcome to Frederick County Parks and Recreation's Youth Sports Leagues!

The primary purpose of Frederick County Parks and Recreation Sports Leagues is to provide a fun, safe, and respectful atmosphere for all participants and their families. Our programs are designed to build confidence, teach fundamental skills, and create meaningful experiences for young athletes of all ages and abilities. We offer flexible registration options, a variety of locations, and welcoming leagues for both new and returning players. Guided by our commitment to inclusive, supportive play, our coaches, volunteers, and staff work together to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth throughout every season.

Parent Volunteers Needed

Parent volunteers are essential to the success of all our youth sports leagues. We rely on volunteer coaches to form teams, support players, and ensure every child has a place to participate. No prior coaching experience is required—our staff provides guidance, resources, and practice support. As a thank you for your commitment, all head coaches receive a program discount. If you're interested in volunteering, please contact David Milord at dmilord@frederickcountymd.gov.
