Girl Scouts

Frederick County Parks and Recreation offers hands-on, educational programs for Girl Scouts of all levels. Activities are designed to support badges and Journeys while fostering skills in nature, science, art, history, cooking and more. Programs are offered at multiple park and museum locations across the county to provide a variety of engaging experiences that encourage creativity, learning, and teamwork.

Our programs take place at the following locations:

  • Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center
  • Catoctin Creek Park & Nature Center
  • Rose Hill Manor Park & Museums
  • Ballenger Creek Community Building – Teaching Kitchen

These locations offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor experiences, from exploring nature and history to hands-on cooking and arts programs. Girl Scouts can participate in age-appropriate activities at each level, from Daisies through Ambassadors.
