Kanode Farm Park

The Richard W. Kanode Farm Park will provide future educational and recreational programming related to agricultural and equestrian pursuits. This park will include various upgrades and improvements to existing farm buildings, indoor and outdoor equestrian riding rinks and trails.

Estimated Schedule

  • September 2022 - 1st Meeting
  • February 2023 - Preliminary Park Master Plan Completed
  • Winter/Spring 2023 - Open house event (the public can review and make comment on the plan)
  • Spring/Summer 2023 - Park master plan is reviewed by the Parks and Recreation Commission, the Planning Commission, and the County Council.
  • Fall 2023 - Design of phase 1 begins
