Living Organisms

This program provides students a chance to compare and classify organisms by their external features and discuss how these adaptations help the organisms survive. Learn about food chains, diets, adaptations, habitat, and environmental changes through discussion and activities. Both models and live plant and animal specimens will be incorporated throughout the program to help the students focus on the dynamic nature of living organisms. And, of course, meet “Rocky” the Rock to better understand the concept of living vs. nonliving organisms. Includes exploratory walk and outdoor activity, weather permitting.
