Programs


We are pleased to offer several nature field trip programs for elementary students here at Fountain Rock Park & Nature Center. These programs align with Next Generation Science Standards and Maryland Environmental Literacy Standards, as indicated in the program description. Each program includes an exploratory walk or outdoor activity, weather permitting. Groups of 10-100 students can be accommodated unless otherwise noted; program format will be adapted for multiple instructors with larger groups.

Reservation Times


Fountain Rock Park Nature Field Trips are available Monday – Friday. The duration of each program (1.5 to 2 hours) is dependent upon the number of students participating. Morning programs may be scheduled anytime between 9:00 am and 11:30 am. Afternoon programs may be scheduled anytime between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm. Reservations must be made at least 30 days in advance.
