Carriage Museum

Mr. Renneberger restored and displayed carriages at Rose Hill. He also was an active member of the Rose Hill Carriage Society and led carriage drives every fall through the streets of Frederick. On exhibit, are a variety of restored carriages and sleighs. These vehicles are a sampling of those used in the region for sporting, pleasure, and utility. Most of the items date to around the turn of the twentieth century just before the advent of major car transport. Several pieces of historic tack, harness equipment, and adornments are on exhibit as well.
